After School Care
Kensington Elementary After School Care has gone through the North Carolina State Licensing process to meet the "star" standards - assuring parents of high quality care by a well-trained, professional staff. Kensington has earned ALL 5 stars!
This program provides a safe and caring atmosphere for students and operates until 6:00. Children are allowed to make choices of quiet time, games, and other activities along with the educational and structured components of the program.
Daily activities include homework time, free choice activities, teacher directed activities, snack time, recreation, and quiet time.
We will offer summer camp at Kensington for the summer of 2007.
Enrollment is limited. Children must enroll on a full time basis. WHen sites are full, new children are placed on a waiting list and notified when a vacancy exists in their age group.
